Where does time go?

Well, I thought I better get something posted...We've been so busy I've had no time to post. The kids have been busy with hockey all last week and weekend. David was in a Tyke Select tournament in Toronto this weekend. The boys did awesome. They ended up 3rd out of 16 teams. Some of these teams are classed as A and AA teams and we're a B class...so they should be proud of themselves. I know the parents were very proud of the boys.

Friday nite the 4 of us went to T.O. in the rain storm. Thank goodness Bruce was able to come with us and drive. Brooke went to my Mom and Dad's this weekend...(thank you so much, I couldn't have done it without you two)

We came home Friday nite and Bruce ended up with the Flu...again...2nd time in 10 days. So David and I went back up to T.O. on Saturday to play and stay the nite...It was nice to spend some quality time just with David.

I did realize that I "baby" my husband wayyyyyy toooooo much. I'm in T.O. heading to the arena at 8 30 and he calls me on the cell....I hear...no hi...just...."the cable isn't working"....and I replied..."....Dear.....I'm in freakin T.O......what would you like me to do about it????????".....so I walked him through what I would do, then I said go online google Rogers and find the customer service phone number, call them and they can walk you through it....OMG....I'm still finding it hard to believe that he did that....

Anyways, David and I returned to home around 1 ish...arranged to pick up Brooke at my sister's house and then came home and went to pick up the dog from the kennel. By the time that was done...we had to pack up everyone and head to Waterloo...Yes...I said it, back to another arena....Stacey had a league game. We got to Waterloo, and I thought if I feed the kids (4 30) now then they won't be whinny...fully tummy = :) .....NOT....I'm pretty sure the restaurant at the complex doesn't want to see us again....lol...so then walk over the ice pad that Stacey is playing on....Well, Waterloo hockey parents were rude last yr, and let me tell you, they haven't improved....First they spread themselves over the whole row of benches...I know no one has right to any benches...BUT, generally the courtesy rule is...home team takes one side, away takes the other. So we were swished on the first step, and couldn't see the ice surface....

Of course, my darling Brooke starts her pouting and acting up act....so I did as our Dr. said and ignore her...well, I did that for 15 min,,,and I guess I was just too tired and I couldn't deal with the Waterloo parents comments and eye rolling anymore....I told David to get his dad over here NOW....I got up and walked out, saying I can't deal with these parents who have no idea about dealing with a child like Brooke....you deal with her. I left and waited in the lobby till the game was over....I know it wasn't the right thing to do, but it was better than getting in a cat fight with some Waterloo parents. I missed Stacey goal, and that really ticked me off...oh well, that's just life.

So we got home, got the kids to bed and awoke with David and my tummy not feeling the greatest. So we're just chilling at home today.

As I was sitting here typing on the computer, I hear a paper rustling noise in the drawer...I'm thinking what the heck...David said mommy, its the cat, I saw here crawl underneath into it....

This is the silliest cat I have every owned.

Bruce called me after the Dr. appointment this am...and he has to have an MRI...and they have booked surgery, I guess they figure that he'll must have a tear or something under there. Anyways, we'll see how fast he can get into an MRI. Or I can't imagine Him on crutches...I think I need a girls weekend away before he has this procedure.
Well, I better go and get some stuff done before my stomach decided to punish me more.
